Tired

I'm tired today, but I did pump some iron this morning. And so far I've put 3600 steps on my pedometer so it's not so bad of an exercise day. Despite being tired I plan to take more steps today.

Have you exercised today? Check back with me tomorrow to see how many steps I logged by the end of the day.

Been a Long Time

Wow I haven't posted anything since last Tuesday because I've been with a male for the last 7 days. He's about 20 inches, 5 pounds and some ounces and today he's 9 days old! Gotcha:). And again he's so precious! His mother says I'm a "newborn convert". He just puts his little head on my chest and is so content. Hey I'm not getting that kind of attention from any other male.....................

Nothing new to report on me in weight and inches (which is good). How about you?

Today I'm back on my exercise and eating right for me. So join me and let's not as reported today on The Today Show gain those 5 pounds people put on over the holidays.

You with me?

Shout out to the New Orleans Saints! They pulled out all the stops from everywhere to win over the Washington Redskins. There's a lesson there - do what you have to do to win. As they say in NOLA - Ya heard?

Who Dat

Who dat talkin bout beatin dem Saints? Well nobody so far! Go Saints 11-0!
And guess what this weight aint gonna beat me either.

Here's a quote from ESPN.com about the Saints -
"The best thing you can do when you get to a place you haven’t been before is act like you have.

That is precisely what the New Orleans Saints did Monday night."

I thought, hmm..."Act like the weight and size I want to be". This is what many books I've read say to do - visualize your end result. I got it! I'm there.
You with me?

Inspiration of the Day
Quote from Jordan Rubin author of The Maker's Diet
You Are What You Think
"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he." (Proverbs 23:7)
What you do and say begins with what you think and believe. In the pursuit of perfect health, it's important to remember that the mind greatly influences the body and spirit. The human mind is a complex and wonderful "machine," sometimes referred to as the most powerful computer ever built. Like computers, we can process, store, and share information. And like computers, the information we put out is only as good as the data we put in: Garbage in, garbage out.

Have a great Tuesday!
